What is a Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance within our own bodies that helps to plump, define smooth and contour areas of our face and body. Dr. Mitchell is trained in the use of JUVEDERM®, a modified version of HA that provides a long lasting, safe alternative to plastic surgery. JUVEDERM® is FDA approved for medical aesthetic use in the U.S. Only a trained physician can provide this service.

What Areas can be Treated with Dermal Fillers

There are several areas on the face that benefit from dermal fillers. You can plump and lift cheeks, which also helps to reduce lines and sagging around the edges of your lips and chin. You can reduce the depth of nasal labial folds and other lines, giving a smoother, more youthful look. If you want to plump your lips, this can easily be achieved without any downtime or tale-tell signs that you had anything done all - other than the admiring stares and compliments you receive. JUVEDERM® can also be used to sculpt the contour of your chin to help with your profile. There are many ways that dermal filler can be used to subtly but effectively enhance your contours, correct areas of concern or bring back a youthful smoothness.

In addition to these treatments, dermal filler can also be used in conjunction with PRP Breast Enhancement for people that have had breast implants to correct and improve areas of stretched or sagging skin that have cause unsightly indentions.
